Exercise Rehabilitation Spokane Valley

Couple doing physical therapyWhether you’ve been in an auto accident or sustained a work-related injury, we want to help you get back to your life as quickly as possible at North Pines Chiropractic. Our exercise rehabilitation is ideal for anyone that has core strength issues and spinal instability. Those with balance disorders also can benefit from this service.

What Are The Benefits?

Just as running, cycling or working out at the gym can yield enormous health benefits, exercise rehab is associated with the following:

  • Improved flexibility
  • Better balance
  • Restored muscle strength
  • Greater endurance

What to Expect

Dr. Mark will perform a functional evaluation to determine where you need improvement and then will address those issues. Your session can be done the same day as a chiropractic visit. Please wear workout type of clothing to your appointment.

You will be shown various exercises by Dr. Mark. He will demonstrate how to perform them and ensure that you are doing them correctly. You will be given instructions on how often you should do them at home.

Fall Prevention

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 1 in 4 Americans, aged 65 and older, fall each year. The CDC also reveals that falls are the primary cause of fatal injury. Falls also are the most common cause of ER visits among seniors. They can result in seniors’ loss of independence, confidence and mobility. We want to help seniors of all ages stay mobile and avoid falls. Dr. Mark can provide older patients with exercises. These will focus on balance, gait, strength, endurance and flexibility.
